Additionally, five aspherical elements, including two extreme aspherical (XA) elements, help reduce distortion and provide smooth bokeh with an 11-blade aperture diaphragm. The Nano AR Coating II effectively manages flare and ghosting, enhancing contrast and color fidelity.

Faster Autofocus and Floating Focus Mechanism

The redesigned focusing system features four XD (extreme dynamic) Linear Motors, offering significantly improved autofocus performance. This system ensures quick, quiet, and precise focusing, making it ideal for capturing fast-moving subjects. The lens maintains full autofocus even at high frame rates and during zoom adjustments. Additionally, the lens features a de-clickable manual aperture ring for silent adjustments, along with programmable focus hold buttons for intuitive control.

Compact, Lightweight, and Robust Design
