• Features

  4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors

4th generation Intel® Core™ processors deliver the performance to increase productivity. Devices turn on in an instant and are always up-to-date. You can multitask quickly and move effortlessly between applications, collaborate wirelessly in a high quality videoconference — all with the convenience of longer battery life. Plus, you can guard against identity theft and ensure safe access to your network with built-in security features. In fact, the only thing more amazing than an Intel Core processor-based PC is what your users will do with it.

  Precision Keyboard Enhanced for Windows

Full-sized and spill-resistant, the ergonomic ThinkPad keyboard is renowned for its array of keys, excellent feel and TrackPoint® pointing. Optimised for Windows with convenient multimedia buttons and immediate access to view apps, it has LED status indicators and function-lock capability. With a larger, smooth trackpad and 5-point click integration—indicated by subtle bumps and stripes, the keyboard can be configured multiple ways, while the optional backlight makes working in the dark effortless.

  Thin and Light

The ThinkPad T440 Ultrabook starting at 1.81kg and with a 21 mm profile at its thickest point, is mobile as well as powerful.

14” HD+ Display with Optional Multitouch

Configure your T440 with an HD+ (1600 x 900 resolution) LCD display with high brightness and enjoy a premium visual experience. For enhanced navigation configure your T440 multitouch display supports ten-finger gesture.

  Ultradurable Construction & MIL-SPEC Tested

Innovative roll-cage technology adds extra strength and rigidity to the notebook shell and top cover (carbon fibre top with magnesium bottom for maximum strength without adding weight). Military-specification testing validates the ruggedness, durability, and quality of ThinkPad products by testing against eight parameters: high pressure, humidity, vibration, high temperature, temperature shock, low pressure (15,000 ft), low temperature, and dust.

Power Bridge Battery Delivering up to 17.2 hours Battery Life

The standard configuration of T440 includes two 3-cell batteries, one internal and one swappable. Power Bridge allows you to swap the rear battery without powering down your system. This is much needed for long flights or travelers who are away from power sources for an extended period of time and can give you up to 17.2 hours of use without needing to plug in.

  WWAN for 3G/4G (Optional)

For true mobility configure your ThinkPad T440 with WWAN connectivity so you can go online virtually anywhere without a WiFi connection.

  VGA Port

A VGA port is still a must-have, and a native VGA means no dongles to buy/lose/replace.

  Dual Speakers with Dolby® Advanced Audio™ v2

Dolby® Advanced Audio™ is a suite of audio technologies that enable your ThinkPad to deliver a crisp, clear surround sound experience over its built-in stereo speakers. The technology increases audio clarity for VOIP applications, maximises volume output without distortion, and improves dialogue clarity when watching videos.

  Integrated 720p HD Webcam

Crystal clear video, face tracking and keystroke noise suppression technology will help you web conference or chat like you’re really there. Dual digital array microphones ensure a premium audio experience.

  Investment Protection

Assure worry-free enjoyment of your T440 with accidental damage protection, which keeps you covered in the event of accidental damage — such as drops or spills — that occur under normal working conditions.
