The A4Tech HUB-64 is a 4-port USB 2.0 hub on a 150 cm cable, for laptops and desktops that have run out of USB ports for everyday accessories.
Most small hubs come with a short stub of cable. The HUB-64’s 150 cm lead is its useful difference: it brings four ports from a tower under the table up to the desk, where plugging in a flash drive, phone cable or camera is easier. It is plug and play on Windows and Mac with no driver, and it accepts USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. Speed is USB 2.0, up to 480 Mbps, which is plenty for a mouse, keyboard, printer, webcam or USB headset but slow for copying big files to an external SSD; plug fast drives straight into a USB 3 port instead. A4Tech rates it at 500 mA to the ports, so a power-hungry portable hard drive may be happier on the computer itself.
