A4Tech FK10Q Multimedia Quiet Keyboard | Black

The A4Tech FK10Q is a wired USB keyboard with A4Tech’s QuietKey mechanism, made for open offices, call desks and home study corners where loud typing gets noticed.

The KK-3 and KR-85 are standard wired boards without QuietKey. The FK10Q is the quiet one. A high-elasticity silicone membrane cushions every press, and A4Tech measures the typing noise dropping from 35 dB to 19 dB. A colleague on a call at the next desk, or a child asleep in the next room, hears far less of your work. The sleek round-square keycaps give each finger a slightly wider target than traditional caps, and the Enter key is oversized. Letters are laser inscribed, so they stay readable for years. Twelve FN shortcuts reach music, video, search and email.

The membrane is made to survive a knocked-over glass of water or cup of chai. There is no wrist rest (the FK20 has one) and no wireless version.
