The A4Tech FBX51C is a thin, rechargeable scissor-key keyboard for laptop users who want the same crisp, low-travel feel on their desk or on the move.
Scissor switches are what most laptop keyboards use. Here they have a 1.5 mm actuation point, so each key registers with a short, even press and less wobble than membrane keys. At 17 mm thick and 303 g, it slides into a laptop bag with the charger. The 300 mAh battery charges by Type-C in about two and a half hours, so you never buy cells. Over the receiver it reports at 1000 Hz, and Bluetooth (125 Hz) covers three more devices.
The compact layout has no number pad. This unit has dark keys on a grey frame, which looks tidy next to a space-grey or black laptop.
